Travel and Tourism say Hello from Hanoi!

Well I hope that you haven’t missed us too much?!? From what we hear, Melbourne is freezing… So just to rub it in, it’s warm here in Hanoi and we’re having a blast!

We have been busy seeing the sights and exploring Hanoi and Ha Long Bay. The students are eating local food, picking up the local language, learning how to cross the street and they are even getting the hang of haggling!

So far for many, the highlight has been Ha Long Bay. We cruised, swan, ate, hiked, caved and karaoke’ed the night away. The bus ride back to Hanoi was a quiet one…

Our guide Thang has been awesome and very informative. Also showing us the best hangouts, the best buys and answering every question we have.

I will leave you now as we are off to have lunch at a local eatery where many will try Pho for lunch and then with a couple of hours to digest – we’re off on a 18km bike ride around Hanoi!
