Macedon Ranges Wine Tourism Excursion

On Monday 2nd March twenty Wine Tourism Students embarked on a trip to the Macedon Ranges with John O Donnell to learn and be inspired by the local wines of the Macedon Ranges.

It was a beautiful autumn day arriving at our first destination in Woodend at Campaspe House. The very experienced General Manager Holger Rose explained to us the workings of the conference and wedding facility. Holger’s talk was infused with his own personal background and a comprehensive knowledge on what it is like running a small events and hospitality business in a regional town.

Advanced Diploma of Tourism student placements at Melbourne Visitor Centre

Five Advanced Diploma of Tourism students have been selected for an eight week Industry placement with the City of Melbourne in the Visitor Information Centres located in Federation Square and at Fitzroy Gardens next to Cooks Cottage.  Students will complete 128 hours of industry experiences that begin on Monday the 30th March at the City of Melbourne Town Hall for their Induction program.

Welcome to our new William Angliss Travel students!

Today, they had their Orientation Day on Campus. We started off with an ice-breaker that got everyone talking and moving around, then introductions from Teachers and Management, followed by lunch. No doubt it’s been an exciting day for many and a wonderful start to 2015!
