Five Advanced Diploma of Tourism students have been selected for an eight week Industry placement with the City of Melbourne in the Visitor Information Centres located in Federation Square and at Fitzroy Gardens next to Cooks Cottage. Students will complete 128 hours of industry experiences that begin on Monday the 30th March at the City of Melbourne Town Hall for their Induction program.
The China Study tour for 2015 Diploma of Tourism students will be similar to the 2014 trip visiting Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing. A key feature of the China tour is a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland which is a fantastic experience especially for Tourism students who are intending to continue onto the USA Disney International Program at the end of their course.
The Tourism Australia briefing at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on February 20th provided our Tourism Marketing students in the Diploma of Tourism course the opportunity to experience a range of marketing presentations from key Tourism Australia managers and to understand the value of networking within the Tourism Industry.Continue reading →
Today, they had their Orientation Day on Campus. We started off with an ice-breaker that got everyone talking and moving around, then introductions from Teachers and Management, followed by lunch. No doubt it’s been an exciting day for many and a wonderful start to 2015!
