The Marketing Strategy session with Melbourne Star Marketing Manager, Tracey Hore provided the Advanced Diploma of Tourism students the opportunity to discuss the current marketing strategy of Melbourne’s iconic Melbourne Star Observational Wheel. Tracey highlighted the importance of an integrated marketing approach across a number of marketing channels including digital, print, social media, broadcast and partnerships to communicate with our customers.

On Monday 2nd March twenty Wine Tourism Students embarked on a trip to the Macedon Ranges with John O Donnell to learn and be inspired by the local wines of the Macedon Ranges.
It was a beautiful autumn day arriving at our first destination in Woodend at Campaspe House. The very experienced General Manager Holger Rose explained to us the workings of the conference and wedding facility. Holger’s talk was infused with his own personal background and a comprehensive knowledge on what it is like running a small events and hospitality business in a regional town.
