Our tour guiding students enjoyed learning about connections with land, native plants, trees , animals and bush medicines at the Melbourne gardens with our Aboriginal guide Den Fisher on Wednesday 27th April 2016
With the briefing completed today and documents handed out – 25 Travel and Tourism students, Corinne and Myself are off to Vietnam this Sunday! (Good bye to the Melbourne’s cold weather for a week…)
With G Adventures help, we are heading to Hanoi and Ha Long Bay! A city of Parisian charm and grace with an Asian edge, Hanoi is an enthralling blend of East and West and a rising star in Southeast Asia. Vietnam’s capital has much to explore – museums, parks, history, and culture abound. Then we visit stunning Halong Bay and overnight on a junk boat (a traditional Asian vessel) while cruising among the bay’s 3,000 islands that rise dramatically from the emerald waters.
We are all very excited to be away for a week to experience a culture and destination very different from the one we call home.
So watch this space because the next time we blog, we’ll be live from Vietnam…
